Sempai Mike D'Aguanno is currently a 2nd degree Black Belt at Spalding's World Class Karate. Sempai D'Aguanno has been involved in the martial arts for over 17 years, and has trained in karate, tae kwon do, kenpo, freestyle, jiu jiutsu and wrestling.
Sempai D'Aguanno was a North American Sport Karate Association champion in 1997 and a MARRS of AZ state champ from 1995 to 1999, and again in 2001 and 2002. Most recently, he has been inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame for the 2004 Competitor of the Year.
Sempai Ray Grimes is a 1st degree black belt at Spalding's World Class Karate. Mr. Grimes is one of our full time instructors as well as a member of our competition team. Mr. Grimes in currently enrolled in college, and his weapon of choice is the double nunchaku.
