Sensei Daniel Spalding is a 4th degree Black Belt under the American Karate Association and Olympic Karate Studio. From 1991 to 2000, Sensei Spalding was a state, regional, and national champion on the Regional Sport Karate Circuit, North American Sport Karate Association, and MARRS of AZ tournament circuits. He retired from active competition in 2000 after completing 1999 and 2000 undefeated on the MARRS of AZ circuit.
Sensei Spalding has also performed stunts and choreographed such projects as; Taiketsu, Age of Empires 2, The Untouchable 2, Action Man pilot, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pilot, and more. He has performed live for such events as the Diamond Nationals, Empire State Nationals, World Series of Martial Arts, Good Morning Arizona, Karate Helps Kick Diabetes, Chuck Norris' Kick Drugs Out of America News Channel 3 and more.

Sensei Spalding was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2003 for "Outstanding Competition" and again in 2004 for "Instructor of the Year."
